...happy friday, everyone!......

...thank you so much for your birthday wishes for little rase yesterday...i'm terribly behind in both answering my comments and leaving comments and would like to apologize - my internet and email have been horribly spotty this week to say the least - lots of construction going on around here and a cable line may have been damaged?...:(...i'm so sorry...

...do you remember the needle felting pics i shared from the yarn show in columbus (that was going on at the same time the quilt show was)?...this arrived in my inbox this week (stephanie's, rumi's and mom's, too)...we made the fiber fun times newsletter...lol...that's sue, the owner of back to back fiber products in the top pic on the left - she had snapped a pic of us at the show and asked us if she could use it...her write-up about us is really nice......:

...i spent yesterday with mom working on putting together a quilt for one of her customers...while i was there, i wanted to get a picture of this adorable triple irish flower quilt she made using sheri howard's tutorial...isn't it sweet?...:

...mom added the 9-patches in each of the corners and quilted it with a red squiggly heart design...i love it!...:

...and here's a pic of mom's little twin fawns resting under the tree in her back yard...her neighborhood is literally overrun with deer...no kidding...and it's not a country neighborhood either - it's very residential...there are deer everywhere and it's kinda sad (and alarming) how unafraid they are - but these two little ones?...aren't they precious?...:

...that's all for this week...i have little rase later today...he's spending the night with grandma all by himself......enjoy your weekend and see you next week!...

Love the quilt! The red quilting thread really makes the design stand out. Love the triple Irish chain and the bold colors!

Those baby deer are so sweet. There must be something in the neighborhood that they like enough to stay! Maybe it's your mom!

Have fun being grandma!
